Injectables

Five injectable brands in one office: three for lines and wrinkles, two dermal fillers.

Wondering who will give your injection? Ask when you call, and ask about their training.

Botox®️, Dysport®️ and Xeomin™️

Three brands of wrinkle-relaxing injection, made by different companies. We offer all three, so we can talk about which one fits you, or keep you on the one you already use.

At your visit we review your health history and look at the lines that bother you. We talk about what to expect and agree on the plan before any injection.

Dermal/Lip Fillers

Two brands of dermal filler, JUVÉDERM® and Restylane®. We offer both, and we talk about the area you want to treat and which fits.

Tell us the look you want. We talk about it, and about how much filler that means, before we begin.

Skin treatments

Peels, facials and microneedling. We talk about which suits your skin before we start.

Chemical Peels

A solution is brushed onto your clean skin while you lie back, then removed. People come for concerns with skin texture, tone or dullness.

It depends on the peel whether your skin peels or looks red afterward. Before your appointment we tell you what to expect, and for how long.

Facials

A facial cleanses and treats the skin of your face. We talk about which treatment suits your skin.

Microneedling

Microneedling works the skin with very fine needles. We talk about whether it suits your skin, or whether a facial or a peel fits better.

Microblading: questions and answers

What to know before you book microblading, in our own words. Anything else, call and ask.

How long do results last?

Results of microblading can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months. How long yours last depends largely on your skin type and lifestyle.

Is this treatment painful?

Typically, no. We apply a topical numbing cream 25 minutes before your procedure so that you are as comfortable as possible. Most patients have minimal pain, swelling and bleeding, if they have any at all.

How long does the treatment take?

Treatment takes about an hour and a half from start to finish.

How does it work?

Treatment is in two parts: your first appointment, then an additional session 4 to 6 weeks later.

Results usually last 12 to 18 months. Most patients choose a touch-up around the 9 month mark to keep up the look. If your skin is particularly oily, if you are very active or if you spend a lot of time outdoors, you may want a touch-up sooner. If your skin is dry, or you don’t spend much time in the sun, you may not need one until the 12 month mark.

The cost of your touch-up depends on how long it has been since your first appointment.

What if I have had eyebrow tattooing or microblading before?

In these cases, we need to see a photo of your eyebrows without any makeup before we schedule an appointment, so that we can assess the situation and plan treatment accordingly.

How do I prepare for my appointment, and what is the follow-up care?

Do not consume blood thinners such as alcohol or Advil for at least 24 hours before your treatment. We also recommend shampooing your hair before you come in, because you will not be able to submerge your brows in water or sweat for a few days after treatment.

We send you home with an ointment to apply to the area for a few nights after treatment, along with aftercare instructions specific to your skin type.

Your brows may look different as they go through the stages of healing. These changes are not as noticeable to others.

Am I a candidate for this treatment?

Microblading is typically not recommended for women who are pregnant or nursing, or for those having chemotherapy. If you still wish to seek treatment, you will need to consult your doctor and give us a note saying you are cleared for treatment before you schedule an appointment. Those who take blood thinners are not candidates for this treatment.

Will microblading affect my ability to grow hair?

No. Microblading does not affect your body’s ability to grow hair.

When can I wear makeup again?

You can wear regular face makeup right after treatment. Wait at least one week before applying any makeup to your brows.
